from 13 reviewsThere’s a mystery with this scent. It’s like entering an oasis with the lights dim and you’re about to get a massage.
Boss Babe Energy, I love the title. It carries such a responsibility to be something empowering to women and it succeeds by being so unapologetically fresh, citrusy and spicy while carrying such warmth and sweetness.
the scent carries intrigue and doesn’t apologize for its uniqueness. It balances the complexities of being floral, fruity and itself.
Muse has Jasmine sambac which is the jasmine common in India and the Philippines. It’s floral, sweet and reminds me of home but nothing artificial or overpowering. The scent is specific, powerful and honest without being more than it needs to be. The sandalwood ties the florals in the rose and the jasmine to ground the scent making it feel cozy yet modern.
My partner’s favorite is a London fog. The candle really emulates the drink where there’s a smell of milk like a latte with lavender and bergamot. I can see this being good for people that want that cozy homey scent of a good latte on a cold day
It doesn’t smell like an artificial strawberry milkshake. Rather there’s rich tartness from the strawberry and brown sugar and if I close my eyes. I can envision a warm graham cracker crust.
Just peachy also comes as a surprise because coming from the Philippines. I have grown used to scents I know from tropical areas that just smell totally different, almost artificial in North America. But this scent would make peach lovers happy. It’s got freshness and sweetness that doesn’t come from a factory.
It’s sweet, floral and fruity and you can’t help but smile when you smell it
Blueberry Chai is indeed a strong spice chai, with a hint of fruity, blueberry almost maple sweetness that pairs well with the spice in chai.
I smell a sweet and strong milky chai over a fall morning with a hint of maple and blueberries to balance the spice and add richness and complexity.
Gemini feels unique. There’s a rich and floral scent that feels unlike anything out there. Together, it just has this air of mystery coming from the orchids and tropical fruit
Sun kissed is another interesting scent because it really reflects what it’s like to walk in the sunny beach sands with the smell of fresh tropical fruit. There is coconut but only a hint to balance the citruses. It’s fresh and uplifting and with this floral citrusy scent that feels familiar and not unnatural
Wanderlust is also a stand out. I wouldn’t have chosen this just reading the description but it’s absolutely divine in how fresh, tropical. How truly beautiful and uplifting it smells because of the citrus blended with the musk.
It makes the home smell so refined and expensive without pulling from any one particular note.
My background is that I’m from the Philippines and I really miss the scents of home. Especially the tropical island scents of the Philippines vs the icy cold climate in Montreal. I’m also keen on supporting woman owned and minority businesses and it makes me so happy to see this brand exist and provide a perspective that’s unique to the owner’s background and experiences.
Haiti Cherie is a stand out for me. It feels fresh, clean, understated and reminds me so much of the beach. I already have a marine scented candle but I think I have to get this one, in the future because of its specificity in how it really reflects the tropical wind blowing in the trees and your feet across the sand in the water.
Island Gal has this wonderful, sweet coconut scent with its vanilla notes that is in no way like the artificial coconut sweets. But a naturally sweet one. My partner likes this very much.
Such high quality. I’m feeling the luxury and self-care
I ordered the sample set because I wanted to try the scents before committing and the shipment came so fast. Atelier Tells is the only candle company I have seen which allows a customer to try different scents in small formats. I feel like this value could easily be 2-3 times the price and still worth it.

Thank you Atelier Tells for crafting such great products and such quick shipping. I feel like the value is so much more than what’s priced. It’s always such a gamble to purchase scent and body products online because the scents make or break how a product makes a person feel. You won’t regret choosing this brand for how authentic and natural the scent choices are. And how well made they are. It’s also such a great feeling to support home grown Montreal brands by women that empower women.
