The Haïti Chérie candle is a luxurious fragrance blend of clean moss, vetiver and sea salt. This scent is truly refreshing and reminds me of my breathtaking native island. The beautiful beaches with tall palm trees and crystal clear water combined with vetiver grass create a lovely aroma.

 

Atelier Tells Candles are hand-poured in small batches in Montreal. We use GMO-free soy wax and are also paraben, sulphate, and phthalate-free. We thrive on creating luxurious fragrance blends to please all your olfactory senses. All our products are cruelty-free, vegan, and handmade with love. Make sure to reuse or recycle our jars after use!

To prevent fire and serious injury:

Trim the wick 1/4" to prevent smoking & soot build-up on the container or other items. Keep wax-free of matches, wick trimmings, or other flammable materials. Burn only on a stable heat-resistant surface for no more than 4 hours at a time. Keep out of drafts. Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax is left at the bottom. Do not move candles while burning or if the wax melted. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

Really smells like the beachy sands from home

My background is that I’m from the Philippines and I really miss the scents of home. Especially the tropical island scents of the Philippines vs the icy cold climate in Montreal. I’m also keen on supporting woman owned and minority businesses and it makes me so happy to see this brand exist and provide a perspective that’s unique to the owner’s background and experiences.

Haiti Cherie is a stand out for me. It feels fresh, clean, understated and reminds me so much of the beach. I already have a marine scented candle but I think I have to get this one, in the future because of its specificity in how it really reflects the tropical wind blowing in the trees and your feet across the sand in the water.
